This design had to fit with the powerful backdrop of Regent’s Park architecture, with its iconic monochrome buildings, strong lines and graceful proportions.
We created 2 distinct zones for our clients to enjoy:
- The first acts as a majestic entrance to the house and is lined with evergreen hedges of Pyracanthas and several stunning specimen of autumn/winter flowering Camelias Sasanquas, which bring life and colour during the long dreary winter months;
- The second is a secluded and relaxing sitting area, surrounded by an array of scented spring / summer flowering plants, such as choysia, lavender, climbing jasmine, cosmos, etc. providing a welcome country feel in this urbane environment.
A carefully thought lighting scheme brings it alive in the late afternoons and evenings.
